Rainforest animals facts for ks2. The amazon rainforest has the largest collection of plants and animal species in the world. Most temperate rainforest animals live on or near the forest floor, as the trees above offer protection from the wind and rain.

Lizards belong to a group of reptiles which includes iguanas, geckoes, monitors, anoles and chameleons.
